Message	Granted it's no snow storm like those in Canada, but Chicago gets its fair share of accumulation too. Although I might have had some slippery situations, I never encountered such uncontrollable traction as you described. We're talking a norm of 3 or 4 inches. And you were only in one inch of snow? Betcha your tires are more worn than you thought... even for street tires, you'd have been more in control than you described.
